Garth M. Garceau's Obituary
Mr. Garth M. Garceau, age 63, passed away at home Thursday morning following a long illness. Garth was born in Muskegon on May 30, 1946 to George and Eva (Pearson) Garceau. He was a 1964 graduate of Muskegon Hts. H.S. and upon graduation joined the U.S. Marine Corp. Garth was a veteran of the Viet Nam war and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Post 3195. He was employed for 25+ years at Ferguson Supply and enjoyed fishing, camping, gardening and being on the water. Garth married the former, Kim M. Pedler on Feb. 29, 2000 and she survives him along with: three daughters, Gina (Chris) Shillinger of Muskegon, Krista (Ron) Phillips of North Port, FL and Nikki L. Haver of N. Muskegon; son, Brian (Caitlin) Broek; five grandchildren, Emma, Payge, Aiden, Autumn and Conner; sister, Dolores Osterhart of Muskegon and in-laws, Jack & Kareen Pedler . 11:00 A.M., Monday, Rev. Gerald Hagans officiating. Military Rites will be performed under the auspices of the V.F.W. Post 3195 and the Michigan National Guard. He will be laid to rest in Norton Cemetery. Visitation: Sunday, 1-4 P.M. and one hour prior to the funeral. Memorial Contributions: Harbor Hospice or V.F.W. Post 3195
