Gary inspired me in the early 70’s with his impressive boogie woogie piano playing. I remember swimming in the pool with Michelle as my babysitter, then listening to him jam at the keyboard. Great memory.

Such a great man! My memories will always include his love for music. I smile when I remember asking If I would like to sing a solo while he played his harmonica. Weird, I though but actually it was beautiful. His smiling face will always be a cherished memory.
Our sympathy to each of you on the loss of a fine man - Dad, Grandpa and friend! We first met Gary and Betty when they both lived at Stillwater, and we so enjoyed their company! We helped with several of his many wonderful fish fries. He was so generous with his fish and his time! We know he was a strong man of faith and is now resting in a better place. What a great man and inspiration to all that knew him. In every way, he embodied the american spirit, love of family, honorable character and kindness to all. I met him only once at a fish fry in Ridgefield, CT (awesome of course), but was honored to know him best through the many stories relayed by Michael, and hearing them talk by phone on many of their regular check in's. Best wishes and deepest condolences on your Father's recent passing. Given all that we have heard about him from you over the years, we were so looking forward to meeting him in person at our upcoming family get together. We know that he was loved deeply and are certain he knew that full well.
