Gary L. Drummond's Obituary
Gary L. Drummond, age 61, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, December 20, 2020. He was born May 15, 1959 in Muskegon to Richard and Bernita (Cline) Drummond. Gary had worked 20 years for Herman Miller Corporation and for his whole life worked off and on at the family butcher shop, Drummond’s Butcher Shop. On June 26, 1982, he married Judy Gilson in Muskegon. He was a member of East Muskegon Church of God. Gary enjoyed gambling and going to the casinos, riding his bike, spending time with his dog, snowmobiling, and riding dirt and road bikes. He is survived by his wife, Judy; daughter, Melissa; grandchildren: Elyssia, Erick, and Jordan; great-grandchildren: Jakari and Jalin; 6 brothers: Bill (Amanda) Drummond, Dan Gilland, Mike McClatchy, Larry Drummond, Jim (Roxanne) Drummond, John (Cheryl) Drummond; 4 sisters: Linda (Steve) Wyman, Cheryl (Bob) Smith, Julie (Jamie) Bautista, and Jeanne (Charlie) Sanders; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Terrance Gilland; step-mother, Joan Drummond; sisters: Cathryn Bradley, Rhonda and Theresa McClatchy. A graveside service for Gary will be held 1:30 PM Sunday, May 23, 2021 in Egelston Twp. Cemetery. DONATIONS to the family to help off-set medical expenses will be appreciated.
