Mr. Gary J. Gromaski's Obituary
Gary Gromaski, beloved father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away unexpectedly on July 10, 2020 at the age of 63. He was born on February 17, 1957, in Bay City, MI, to the late Helen and Joseph Gromaski. He served in the US Air Force and retired in 2019 from over 40 years of exemplary service as an electrician for Consumers Energy J.H. Campbell Generating Complex in West Olive, MI. Talented at working with his hands, Gary could fix pretty much anything electronic or mechanical. A cycling enthusiast for many years, his latest interest was riding and working on his e-bike. He was also a huge fan of music and collected hundreds of classic LPs during his lifetime. Left to cherish his memory are his beloved daughter, Gail Gromaski; son-in-law, Jeff Creamer; 3-year-old grandson, Ethan Creamer; and siblings, Karen (Emery) Paten, David (Bernadette) Gromaski and Phillip Gromaski and their families. Gary will be greatly missed and remembered for his great sense of humor and for his humble, kindhearted, and generous spirit. Services celebrating Gary’s life will be postponed until after COVID-19. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Gary’s memory to the Air Force Aid Society at afas.org/ways-to-give.
