Gary Wayne TenBrink, Jr.'s Obituary
Gary Wayne TenBrink, Jr., age 48, of Holland passed away unexpectedly of cardiac arrest on Friday, January 14, 2011, in Baldwin, MI. He was born March 17, 1962, in Grand Haven to Gary Sr. and Joyce (Lukela) TenBrink.
Gary was a 1980 graduate of Grand Haven High School and had attended Grand Rapids Community College. He was a member of Resurrection Life Church in Grandville, and he owned and operated his own general contracting business, TenBrink Builders, in Holland. He enjoyed skiing, swimming, fishing, camping, golfing, and traveling.
Gary married the former Leslie Prince on February 2, 2002, in Kauai, Hawaii, and she survives him along with two sisters, Debra Davis of Nashville, TN, and Theresa Schmidt of Grand Haven; two step-sisters, Kerin and Kelli VanderWall, both of Allendale; and two step-mothers, Valerie Becerra of Grand Haven and Julie TenBrink of Allendale. He was preceded in death by his parents.
The service for Gary will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, January 20, 2011, at Resurrection Life Church in Grandville (please use entrance “K”) with Rev. Dean Wheeler officiating. Friends may meet the family 5-8 PM Wednesday, January 19, at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven. Interment will be in Robinson Township Cemetery.
