Gayle S. St. Amour's Obituary
Gayle Suzanne St. Amour was welcomed into Heaven June 26, 2022 at the age of 70. Her parents Ken Jansen and Ray and Lois St. Amour preceded her in death. Surviving are sisters Cheryl (Tim) Arter, Pam St. Amour, nephew Andrew (Jenna) Arter, nieces Emily (Jon) Brickner and Jennifer (Tim) Coletta. Gayle was born in Muskegon July 23, 1951. She was a Mona Shores and Central Michigan graduate. Prior to her retirement, she held administrative positions with Alliance for Health and the American Heart Association in Grand Rapids. Gayle loved and enjoyed 4 small dogs throughout her adult life along with reading, interior design and sunny summer days at Lake Michigan. She was a strategic spades player, a gourmet cook, and had a beautiful singing voice and super sharp mind. Gayle will be sorely missed by her younger sisters who loved her sense of humor and readiness to lend an ear for quick advice on virtually anything. A typical quote in a card from Gayle might read- “I smile because you're my sister and laugh because there is nothing you can do about it”. The immediate family only will be having a private memorial service. Please consider memorial donations to the American Heart Association or the Humane Society of West Michigan. Arrangements by The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444.
