Gene Leo Bordeaux's Obituary
Mr. Gene Leo Bordeaux, age 76, passed away at his home on Monday, April 6, 2020 in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon on September 29, 1943 to Leo and Mabel (Lund) Bordeaux. Gene was a veteran of the United States Army National Guard. He had been employed as an engineer at Johnson Technology for 29 years prior to his retirement in 2010. Gene was a member of Lake Harbor United Methodist Church. He was an avid hunter and enjoyed spending time with his son and grandsons in the woods. On December 2, 1966, Gene married the former Nancy Marie Hutchison in Muskegon and she survives him along with their children, Jeffrey (Denise) Bordeaux, Amy Bordeaux, and Lisa (Lonn) Vasquez; six grandchildren, Jacob, Zachary, and Michael Bordeaux and Branyon, Gabrianna, and Easton Vasquez; sister, Kathleen (Orin) Cutler and brother-in-law, Don Anderson. He was preceded in death by his twin sister, Arlene Anderson.
