Mr. Gene R. Stickney's Obituary
Mr. Gene R. Stickney, 72, passed away Sunday, April 1, 2018, in Muskegon. He was born July 10, 1945 to Lloyd and Vivian (Wyant) Stickney in Muskegon, and grew up in Ravenna. He was a U.S Air Force veteran of the Vietnam Era. Gene worked for General Electric for 30 years before retiring, coached little league and was a Boy Scout leader. On September 17, 1971 he married Judy Kmiecik, and she survives him along with 3 sons: Charles “Chuck” (Peggy) Stickney, Joshua Stickney, Aaron Stickney; 3 grandchildren: Paige, Sarah and Heather; 1 brother: Richard (Shirley) Stickney. He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings: Lloyd, Jim, Robert, Virginia, Barbara, Doris, Donna and MaryLou. A military service for Mr. Stickney will be held Thursday, April 5, 2018, at 2:00 PM at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., (231) 798-1100.
