Geneva H. Grandjean's Obituary
Mrs. Geneva H. Grandjean, age 89, died Friday, January 6, 2006. She was born May 3, 1916 in Muskegon to Harry and Gertie (Fisher) Mulder, and had been a life resident. Mrs. Grandjean was a member of First Reformed Church for many years, and is currently a member of Hope Reformed Church. She belonged to the Women’s Guild and helped prepare the annual Dutch Supper. Mrs.Grandjean also enjoyed crocheting and knitting. On May 26, 1938, she married Charles Grandjean in Muskegon, and he preceded her in death on June 8, 1985. SURVIVORS include 2 children, Lynne (Thomas) Spencer of Montague, Gordon (Carolyn) Grandjean of Manassas, Virginia; 5 grandchildren, William N. Tripp II, Laura Paddock, Barbara (Larry Parsons) Grandjean, Sherry Grandjean, Christopher Grandjean; 5 great-grandchildren, Kathleen, Margaret, Robert, Noah, Samuel; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents, 2 sisters, and 1 brother. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Thursday at Hope Reformed Church with Rev. Steven Hyma officiating. Burial will be in Restlawn Cemetery. VISITATION will be from 6-8 PM Wednesday at
