George Joseph Hilton III's Obituary
George Joseph Hilton III, age 57, returned to his heavenly home on June 13, 2025. George was born to George Hilton II and Barbara (Hall) Hilton on June 7, 1968, in Muskegon, Michigan. George worked as a custodian for Pioneer Resources and later for the city of Muskegon.
George was a source of great joy for those who loved him. Despite significant health challenges in recent years, George maintained a remarkably positive attitude and never complained. He could often be found with his nose in a book, walking around downtown Muskegon, or taking a ride on the city bus. George was an active member of The Journey Church, where he enjoyed the time spent with his church family and stopping by the coffee bar. George was a foodie who loved to cook and loved to eat. He enjoyed visiting with his family and playing games together.
George will be greatly missed and remembered by his cousin, Debra Beauregard; his brother, James Hilton; special friends, Rick Merick and Jeff Stein; and several cousins. George is preceded in death by his parents.
