George McCrary's Obituary
Mr. George Robert McCrary entered into eternal rest Tuesday, November 9, 2004, after a courageous battle with lung cancer. He was born December 4, 1928 to William and Mayme McCrary. He was an auto body shop manager for many dealerships in the area. After retirement, he enjoyed cooking, hunting, gardening, woodworking, and having his kids at the house. SURVIVORS include his loving wife of 54 years, Barbara (Post), daughter, Marcia (Brian) Hendrie, sons, Michael (Ellen), Patrick (Rhonda), 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren, and many friends and relatives. Services will be 1:00 PM Friday, November 12, 2004 at the Sytsema Funeral Home, 737 Apple Avenue,(231) 726-5210, with a family cousin, Mr. Ray Post officiating. VISITATION will be from 6-8 PM Thursday evening, and 1 hour prior to the service on Friday. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, please consider Hackley Cancer Treatment Center or the American Lung Association.
