George F. Schalk's Obituary
George F. Schalk, age 84, passed away at Munson Hospital in Cadillac on March 20, 2018. He was born on May 19, 1933 to George (Caroline) Schalk in Whitehall. George grew up in North Muskegon and spent the majority of his working years there. He was a beloved Father. George enjoyed spending time in the outdoors gardening, hunting, fishing, and feeding the wildlife. George served as a military policeman for 2 years. In 1996, he retired from Sun Chemical and moved north to enjoy his outdoor passions. SURVIVORS include two daughters, Julie Schalk and Jean Schalk; two grandchildren, Nicholas Schalk and Ryan Schalk; brother, Richard (Darlene) Schalk; and sister, Nancy (William) Johnson and friend, Charlene Knuth.
