George M. Wickstrom's Obituary
George M. Wickstom, age 99, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022. He was born on July 10, 1922 in Muskegon to George and Gertrude (Martin) Wickstrom and was a life resident of the area. George served his country in the US Army during World War II. He worked as an advertising manager for Sealed Power for 40 years, before retiring in 1981. George was a member of St. Francis de Sales Catholic Church, and the Audubon Society. He enjoyed bird watching, gardening and photography, and was a contributor to anything that would improve nature and the arts. SURVIVORS include several nieces and nephews. George was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Richard, William and John Wickstrom; sister, Vivienne Moblo, and very dear friend, Ellen Slater. According to his wishes, there will be a private family service at a later date. Memorial Contributions in George’s name may go to the charity of your choice.
