George C. Wirt's Obituary
Mr. George C. Wirt, age 84, passed away at Mercy Hospital October 7, 2007, following a short illness. He was born April 15, 1923 in Pentwater, Michigan to Orta and Eva (Huffman) Wirt. He served in the National Guard from 1947 - 1950. He was employed at C.W.C. for 31 years and retired in 1982. He is survived by a sister, Hazel Wirt of Ohio and many nieces and nephews. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be held Wednesday, October 10, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. at The Lee Chapel, with Rev. David Selleck officiating. INTERMENT: Sunrise Memorial Gardens. Friends may meet with the family beginning one hour prior to the service.
