Georgiann Roberson's Obituary
Mrs. Georgiann Roberson, age 80, passed away Monday, November 9, 2020 in Muskegon. She was born in Muskegon Heights, Michigan on April 5, 1940 to George and Doris (Kaigler) Darty. Georgiann graduated from Muskegon Heights High School, class of 1958, and remained a loyal Tigers supporter. She was employed by Orchard View Community Education for over 26 years prior to her retirement. Georgiann was a member of Grace Life Bible Church and the West Side Friends and Family Club. She enjoyed reading the Bible, listening to Moody Radio, playing BINGO, completing word searches, and was always willing to give honest advice to anyone willing to listen. On August 11, 1991, Georgiann married Titus R. Roberson Jr. and he preceded her in death in 2005. She is survived by her children, Tony Ivan Anderson, Lisa Kaye Anderson, and Shandra (Todd) Smith; daughter-in-law, Williette Anderson; six grandchildren, Deandre L. Smith, Cornell Ivan Anderson, Toni Aleece Anderson, Donwin Jones II, Marissa (Braden) Marks, and Taran Jay Smith; four great-grandchildren, Devon, James, Amiracle, and Donwin III; special caregiver, Gloria Coach; and several cousins. In addition to her husband Titus, she was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Anderson. VISITATION with Georgiann’s family will be held from 4-8 PM Tuesday, November 17, 2020 at The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI 49444. Due to state restrictions, masks will be required and a maximum of 50 persons indoors will be allowed. Please be courteous with the time spent with the family as others will be waiting to see them.
