Georgie L. Kolberg's Obituary
Mrs. Georgie L. Kolberg, age 69, died Wednesday evening, May 12, 2004. She was born September 11, 1934 in Vincennes, Indiana to Louis and Mildred (King) Adams and had lived in the Muskegon area for most of her life. Mrs. Kolberg had worked for Amicare for 2 years. On February 23, 1971, she married Orville “Walt” Kolberg, Sr. in Muskegon and he survives her along with 4 daughters, Missy (Ronald) Bitson, Belinda (Robert) Hinojosa, Joanne (Pete Lewis) O’Malley, Becky (Rick) Helms all of Muskegon; Walts children (two of whom she helped raise), Terry (Rhonda) Kolberg of Colorado, Ruby Botten of Muskegon; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; dear friends; and her beloved pet, Littlefoot. She was preceded in death by her son, David O’Malley, 3 sisters, and 1 brother. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held 1:00 PM Monday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 737 Apple Ave.(231) 726-5210 with Rev. David Cadle officiating. Burial will be in E. Hesperia Cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be one hour prior to the service on Monday. MEMORIALS to the family will be appreciated.
