Mr. Gerald K. Cleveland's Obituary
Mr. Gerald Keith Cleveland “Uncle Jer”, age73, passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2014 in Muskegon. He was born in Muskegon on March 19, 1941 to Harry and Leah (Smith) Cleveland and was a life resident of the area. Jerry served his country in the United States Army and had worked in the wax department at Howmet-Alcoa for 28 years before retiring in 1997. Jerry enjoyed country music, traveling, reading, and loved his nieces, nephews and family. He is survived by four brothers, Harry R. Cleveland, Ramon Cleveland, Bob Cleveland, and Richard (Julie) Cleveland; four sisters, Glenna Drummond, Gloria Bates, Esther (Keith) Hill, and Judy McPheron; four close nephews, Donnie, Brent, Josh and Danny and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one nephew, Joey Drummond. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Monday, November 17, 2014 at The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., 231-798-1100 with Rev. Steve VanderWoude officiating. Military Honors will be performed under the auspices of the Muskegon County Council. VISITATION will be from 2-4 & 6-8 PM Sunday, November 16, 2014 and 1 hour prior to the service on Monday. Burial will be in Ravenna Cemetery. MEMORIALS may be made to Harbor Hospice.
