Gerald Eugene "Jerry" Joldersma's Obituary
Mr. Gerald Eugene “Jerry” Joldersma, age 82, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 in Muskegon, Michigan. He was born in Muskegon on December 13, 1943 to the late John and Vivian (Schroeder) Joldersma Sr. On November 7, 1964, Jerry married the former Bonnie Brummel in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and together they shared 61 years of marriage. Jerry was employed at Sealed Power for 43 years before retiring in 2005. He was a member of Fruitport Christian Reformed Church and was devoted to reading his daily devotions. Jerry and Bonnie enjoyed traveling, especially to warm beaches, and spending their winters in Florida. He also enjoyed watching the birds, playing cribbage, and cheering on the Detroit Tigers and the Detroit Lions. Jerry will be remembered for his dry sense of humor and his mischievous smirk. He is survived by his loving wife, Bonnie; two daughters, Dawn (Ivan) Willey and Denise (Arthur) Sibley; one granddaughter, Caitlin Willey; siblings-in-law, Loretta Joldersma, John and Pam Brummel, Mary and Norm Geible, Sue and Mike Bozek, Dan Hilton, and Kathy and Gary VanKampen; and many loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Isaac Willey; and brothers, John “Butch” Joldersma Jr. and David Joldersma.
