Gerald T. "Jerry" Stillson's Obituary
Gerald T. “Jerry” Stillson, age 86, passed away on Friday, September 20, 2024, in Muskegon, MI. He was born March 28, 1938, in Grand Haven, MI to Fred and Helen (Burghorn) Stillson. Jerry graduated from Grand Haven High School in 1956 and then went on to serve his country in the United States Navy. On June 26, 1959, Jerry married Ruth Ann Modderman, and they were married 54 years before her passing on December 21, 2013. Jerry worked as a truck driver for LW Lamb Inc. for 47 years, until his retirement in 2007.
Jerry enjoyed relaxing, golfing, hunting, and spending his winters in Florida. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Jerry is survived by his sister, Beverly (William) Ollman; brother, Roger Stillson; sister-in-law, Judy Stillson; and many nieces and nephews. Along with his wife, Ruth, he was preceded in death by his parents; son, Randy Stillson; daughter, Cindy Stillson; and brother, Donald Stillson.
