Mr. Gerald "Jerry" Walsworth's Obituary
Mr. Gerald Ross Walsworth, age 75, passed away Thursday evening, March 23, 2017, surrounded by his family, at home. Jerry was born January 21, 1942 in Muskegon to Leon and Alice (Werich) Walsworth. On September 29, 1962, he married the former Barbara Zeedyk and she survives him. Jerry was a transport driver for Blarney Castle for 30 years prior to his retirement in 2004. He enjoyed traveling with Barb, camping and woodworking. In addition to Barb, his wife of 54 years, Jerry is survived by his children, Brian (Heidi) Walsworth of Muskegon and Terry (fiancée Tiffany Jones) Walsworth of Surf City, NC; and grandchildren, Cody (Robyn), Nicole, and Cord. Jerry was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Regina. In accordance with his wishes, private family services will be held. Memorial Contributions in Jerry’s memory may be made to the Johnson Family Cancer Center or Harbor Hospice Foundation. Arrangements by The Sytsema Chapel, 737 Apple Ave. 231-726-5210.
