Dear Pitcher's Doris , Steve, Dan , Linda ,Patti, Michael and families, I am so sorry to hear of your loss !!! Gerry was always such a kind man ! I remember when I was very young He had a Mickey Mouse watch I wanted soooo bad ! He said I will put it away and when you save your pennies it will be here for you !!! It was 13.95 I went back with a paper sack filled with 1395 pennies and he took it with a smile and got the watch out of the big green safe he had it in and gave it to me forever in my heart !##imported-begin##Darcy Burnside Snippe##imported-end##

Pitcher Family,

I was so sad to see that my old friend Mr. Pitcher has gone to be with the Lord. I worked in the jewelry store as my first job in 1964 when I was only sixteen years old. He taught me so much in those years, and was a friend and a mentor. Dan and Linda, we were classmates at GHHS and I know you both will miss your Dad so much. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of your family.

Upon returning from a month's vacation were were saddened to learn of Mr. Pitcher's passing.He was a fine person and a real "gentle" man! We have find memories of his care and assistance that he always showed to my rather difficult mother when she was in the store at holiday time.She always referred to him as Mr. "Pritchard". He simply smiled. Please accept our sincere sympathy He will be missed.
