Words cannot express how heavy my heart is for you during this time. Aunt Geri has always had and will always have a special place in my heart. That smile , her giggle and those hugs she gave are seared in my mind and heart forever. Sorry Rodney that I didn't learn of her home going in time to get home to stand with you tomorrow, but please know that I will be there in spirit. Remember God has her. You don't have to worry about her. She's at total peace. There is a scripture that says God is near to the broken hearted. He is a comforter. Lean on him. It is hard for me to write this can’t believe you’re gone. You took care of all of us and made sure we stayed together. I will never forget your life teachings and the wisdom you bestowed upon me growing up and even as a grown woman. I hate that I wasn’t able to celebrate your 85th birthday due to me having COVID.
