Gerry L. Huffman Jr's Obituary
Gerry L. Huffman Jr, age 51, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019. He was born on March 17, 1968 in Muskegon, MI to Gerry Huffman Sr and Lois Flater. He has been a life-long resident of Muskegon. He graduated from West Ottawa Area Center in his 20’s. Gerry was also a dedicated employee to GoodWill Industries for 5-6 years, where he worked as an assembler. He enjoyed watching WWE, playing cards, dancing and listening to music. He took a great interest in Harley Davidson motorcycles. You could usually find him cutting paper and counting pennies. Above all things, he loved his family and friends dearly. His fun loving, happy go lucky personality will truly be missed by many. He is survived by his mother, Lois Flater; siblings, John (Kristin) Huffman and Sharon (Robert Upson) Huffman; 3 nephews, Brian Huffman, Austin Upson and Robert Upson II; 3 nieces, Casey Upson, Angel “Baby Boo-Boo” Upson and Hayley Upson; and great-nephew, Ryker Huffman. He is preceded in death by his father, Gerry Huffman Sr. A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, October 19, 2019 with visitation one-hour prior at The Walburn Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 1547 W. Sherman Blvd, Muskegon, MI 49441. Visitation with the family will be held from 6-8PM on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the funeral home.
