Gerry Lee "Worm" Huffman, Sr.'s Obituary
Mr. Gerry Lee Huffman, Sr., age 61, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday afternoon, November 8, 2006. He was born March 27, 1945 in Muskegon to Thiel and Gertrude (Peffers) Huffman and was a life resident. Mr. Huffman worked for Howmet for 42 years before retiring on May 30, 2006. He was also a member of the U.A.W. Local 1243. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Gerry Lee Huffman, Jr. of Muskegon, John (Kristin Hutfilz) Huffman of Ravenna, Sharon (Robert Upson) Huffman of Muskegon; 4 grandchildren, Brian Huffman, Casey Upson, Austin Upson, Angel Upson; 3 step-grandchildren, Robert Upson II, Hayley Upson, Alex Hutfilz; long-time partner, Sharon Upson; 2 brothers, Versil (Sheila) Huffman of Ravenna, Joseph Huffman of Muskegon; friend and mother of his children, Lois Flater; and 9 step-children.
