Gertrude Helen Young's Obituary
Gertrude H. Young age 82, of Ravenna died Sunday, December 30, 2012 at Spectrum Butterworth.
Gertrude was born on June 24, 1930 in Victoria, Minnesota to the late Gilbert and Helen (Bowser) Walter. She married Junior James Young on April 7, 1951 in Ravenna, MI. He preceded her in death on February 25, 2010.
Gertrude is survived by: 2 Sons: Thomas (Kristi) Young of Spring Lake, MI and Mark Young of Muskegon. 4 Grandchildren: Adam, Jamie, Jill and Dana and 5 Great Grandchildren.
Gertrude was preceded in death by: Parents, Husband: Junior, Daughter: Linda Young, Grandson: Eric Young. 1 Sister: Katheryn Weaver.
Mass from the Order of Christian Funerals will be celebrated on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 10:30am at the St. Catherines Catholic Church with Father Fred Brucker celebrant. Burial will be in Ravenna Township Cemetery.
The family will be at the Throop Funeral Home of Ravenna on Wednesday January 2, 2013 from 6:00 to 8:00pm to greet friends. The Rosary will be prayed at 8:00pm.
