Gertrude H. Sullivan's Obituary
Gertrude H. Sullivan, age 80, of Grand Haven passed away Thursday, January 31, 2008, at her home. She was born April 26, 1927, in Grand Haven to Maurice and Gertrude (Beebe) Sullivan.
Gertrude was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Grand Haven and was previously employed as a clerk at Hettinga’s Produce and later at Meijer.
She is survived by a son, Mark (Nancy) Sullivan of Meridian, Mississippi; a grandson, Shawn M. (Brandy) Sullivan of Nashville, Tennessee; a granddaughter, Stacy Lynn (Jeremy) Katzenstein of Corpus Christi, Texas; two sisters-in-law, Yvonne Sullivan of Grand Haven and Ann Sullivan of Florida; a brother, Michael (Marilyn) Sullivan of Tempe, AZ; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Ellen Cook, and three brothers: Maurice Jr., Daniel, and James Sullivan.
The service for Gertrude will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 8, 2008, at VanZantwick Bartels Kammeraad Funeral Home in Grand Haven with Rev. William Langlois officiating. Friends may meet the family 6-8 p.m. Thursday, February 7, at the funeral home in Grand Haven. Interment will be in Lake Forest Cemetery.
