Gertrude L. Pontius' Obituary
Mrs. Gertrude L. Pontius, age 94, peacefully passed away at a local hospital Saturday, November 17, 2007 following a long illness. She was born the 10th of 11 children on January 29, 1913 in Pentwater, MI to Mark and Louise (Chadwick) Glover. Gertrude married Mr. George M. Pontius in South Bend, IN on May 1, 1930. He preceded her in death on December 7, 1996. She is survived by: 3 children, Jack L. (Irene Otto) Pontius of Twin Lake, Karen S. (William Arends) Kowalski of Muskegon and Janice Bhavsar of Brighton, MI; 9 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren. The funeral service will be held at

1:00 P.M., Saturday, November 24, 2007 with Rev. John H. Brown officiating. Visitation will be at the funeral home beginning one hour prior to the service.
