Mrs. Gisela Elizabeth O'Reilly's Obituary
Mrs. Gisela Elizabeth (Sturm) O’Reilly, age 95, formerly of Muskegon, passed away January 29, 2013 at her home in Dearborn Heights, Michigan. She was born February 10, 1917 in Muskegon to Julius and Rose (Polgar) Sturm. Gisela married Stanley W. O’Reilly on March 2, 1935 and he preceded her in death in 1977. She worked for many years as a secretary for her husband at the Muskegon Moose Lodge. Later they moved to Kalamazoo to work at the Kalamazoo Moose Lodge. When Stanley retired they moved back to Muskegon. Gisela is SURVIVED by her grandchildren, Timothy S. Miner, Chris M. (Miner) Sheffield, Michael R. Miner, Scott Miner, Mathew H. Marcarian, Gregory H. Marcarian and Sarah E. Marcarian-Dabb. She was PRECEDED in death by her husband, Stanley W. O’Reilly; daughters, Sandra (O’Reilly) Miner and Charlene (O’Reilly) Marcarian; brother, Stephen J. Sturm; and sister, Helen (Sturm) Dress. Mrs. O’Reilly will be remembered at a Memorial Service held at a later date to be determined by the family.
