Gladys M. Larson's Obituary
Gladys M. Larson, age 97, passed away Tuesday, December 23rd, 2014, in Spring Lake, Michigan. Gladys, also known as Millie, was born on October 7, 1917 in Chicago, to Adolf and Esther Hult. After graduating from Carthage College, Gladys married David Larson on September 6, 1941, in Park Ridge, Illinois. Together they raised three children. He preceeded her in death in 2004.
She is survived by: daughters, Ann White, of Spring Lake, MI, Linda (Jim) Danforth of Loveland , CO, and son, David (Nancy) Larson of Naperville, IL; nine grandchildren, and twelve great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; and Randy White.
Gladys was a member of St. Armand’s Key Lutheran Church in Sarasota, FL for many years, serving as a Stephen’s Minister.
A Celebration of Life memorial service will be held at a later date in Sarasota. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the St. Armand’s Key Lutheran Church Foundation, 40 N. Adams, Sarasota, FL 34236. Please sign the family’s online guest book.
