Gladys Young's Obituary
Gladys Young, age 91, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2024, in Muskegon, MI. She was born December 1, 1932, to David and Lovie (Noble) Young, in Bradley, Lafayette County, AR. She attended Bradley high school, in Bradley, AR, and graduated in 1951. She enjoyed watching baseball and was a great cook. She was an active member at Beulah Baptist Church and loved to volunteer, giving her time at church and organizations like the NAACP and the Urban League.
Gladys is survived by her brother, Roy Young and sister, Maryan Young; special niece, Toni Brower; along with several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Patrick Young; brothers, R.T. Moses, David Young, John Young, Ben Young and Dennis Young; and sisters, Charlean Clay, and Joan Young.
A FUNERAL SERVICE will be 12 PM on Monday, July 8, 2024, at Beulah Baptist Church (2601 Manz St., Muskegon, MI 49444), with VISITATION with the family at 11 AM.
