9-13 Just read the notice of "Grandma King's" passing and wanted the family to know how much I always appreciated the wonderful job she did at Child Haven with both the kids as well as foster care staff (one of whom was me). Her cheery face and "can do" attitude buoyed all of our spirits. I have very fond memories of Aunt Gladys & Uncle Cecil. Growing up, it was always fun visiting them with my Dad, Clarence, & the rest of our family. Later, during the year I lived in Muskegon teaching at Catholic Central, I recall Aunt Gladys was always a welcoming hostess when I visited. I always felt comfortable and "at home" in her home.
