Gladys Joan Nelson's Obituary
Miss Gladys Joan Nelson, age 80, passed away Sunday, October 11, 2009 at Dayspring Assisted Living Residence. She was born May 13, 1929 in Muskegon to Joseph and Florence (Bluhm) Nelson. Gladys was employed as office manager for World Vision and International Aid organizations for many years until her retirement. She was formerly an active member of Little Black Lake Baptist Church. She is survived by her cousins, Walter (Marian) Nelson of Norton Shores, Don (Karolyn) Nelson of Muskegon and Leslie Nelson of Denver, CO; also many other relatives and friends. The FUNERAL SERVICE will be held, Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at The Lee Chapel, Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc. 6291 S. Harvey St. (231) 798-1100 Rev. Douglas VanderMolen officiating. Visitation will begin one hour prior to the service. She will be laid to rest in Mona View Cemetery. MEMORIAL contributions may be made to World Vision International.
