Gladys Mae Kingsley's Obituary
Mrs. Gladys May Kingsley, age 94, passed away Friday, February 25, 2011 at the Poppen House. She was born November 30, 1916 in Poland, Ohio to Charles and Clara (Robaugh) McCreary and moved to the Muskegon area in 1975 with her husband, Karl. Mrs. Kingsley attended First Baptist Church, and was an avid bridge player, enjoyed cooking, and loved her flower garden. On January 12, 1941 she married Karl Kingsley in Ohio, and he preceded her in death on August 10, 2006. SURVIVORS include 2 sons, Bob (Kaye) Kingsley of Twin Lake, and Tom (Marilyn) Kingsley of Norton Shores; 7 grandchildren, David (Becky) Oldaker, Robert Oldaker (Faune Stevens), Kerry (Mike) Stewart, Amy (Josh) Silvis, Jason Kingsley (Allison Jensen), Nathan (Robin) Kingsley, Kate (Tom) Jensen; and 11 great grandchildren. Mrs. Kingsley was also preceded in death by her parents. A Memorial Service will be announced at a later date.
