happy birthday in heaven my brother, we miss you so much
We met as children at his cousins Greg and Jennifer Scott on what is now Bittersweet Lane when they came to visit. The Scott's had a trampoline that was probably all of ours first. It's true Glenn was protective of Jeff and watched out for and stood up for him. I'm still friendly with Cindy and the Gary Gray (RIP) family. I was looking for another obit and sadly came across this and felt compelled to post. Glenn was full of life, humor and was much loved, the sign of a life well lived. Deepest sympathies to the family.

Cindy and Family;
My personal sympathy on the passing of your brother Glen. Know that many of your high school classmates are holding you in their thoughts and prayers. May wonderful memories comfort you all during this time of transition.

Dear Joan, Glen and Family.
It is with heartfelt love that I share this memory of dear Glen with you. As I reflected in church on "Good Friday" asking Our Lord to hold Glen close - I looked at the Drape covering the Mosaic of the Risen Christ, Glen was responsible for that Drape - it was his idea the year he worked with us St. Mary's during the Lenten Season, he oversaw the making/hanging of the first drape. Glen was so talented and shared his ideas with those he came in contact with, especially while working at Porentas Furniture Store - I was in their often and saw him in action. I remember one year at Christmas , when Glen lived with his Grandparents, helping Grandma take care of Grandpa, that he decorated all in a soft peach and white satin even the tree - how beautiful and happy everything looked. I will miss his big smile, twinkle in his eye, hearty laugh and gift of love and kindness to all. Glen had a big soft heart and was always helping others with our bringing attention to himself. He so often spoke of his family and proud of their success and especially of the accomplishments of his nieces and nephews. Glen was one of a kind, I will miss coming in and hearing his voice on the machine "HI Dorth" just wanted to say hi Cuz & that I love you.
With Love & Hugs,
Your Cousin,
Dorothy

Glenny was always an uncle to me. I can't remember a family party without him, without his great laugh, his jokes, his wonderful stories. He had a huge heart, and the world is smaller without him. I am so sad to hear of his passing. God Bless and Rest in Peace, Glenny.
