Glen A. Greene's Obituary
Mr. Glen A. Greene, age 85, passed away Monday afternoon, March 24, 2008. He was born March 4, 1923 in East Jordan, MI to LeRoy and Levina (McPherson) Greene. Mr. Greene served our country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He worked for AmStore for 10 years, and also worked for R & S Trucking for many years before retiring in 1988. Mr. Greene was a member of The Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene – Eastwood Campus. On May 10, 1947 he married the former Margaret E. Moser in Muskegon and she survives him along with 5 children, Aloha (William) Forman, Wayne (Laurel) Greene, Cheryl (Randy) Buter, Colleen (Donald) Wilcoxson, Karen Greene all of Muskegon; 16 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; 2 brothers, Clyde Greene, Willard (Cathy) Greene both of Florida; 2 sisters, Delores (Dr. Tony) Malo of Arizona, Margaret Bowen of Muskegon; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Carol Greene; 2 brothers, Kenneth Greene, Sr. and Raymond Greene. SERVICES will be 11:00 AM Friday at the Lakes Community Church of the Nazarene – Eastwood Campus (2270 S. Mill Iron) with Rev. Tom Parks officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. VISITATION will be from 6-8 PM Thursday at
