Mom,
I hope you know how much I love you and always will. Even though we didn't always see things the same way, I miss you. I know we didn't see each other much the past couple years but you were always on my mind. I also know I wasn't the perfect daughter and I'm sorry I wasn't better. There are things I wanted to say to you and I'll regret for the rest of my life that I didn't say them. I was afraid to make you cry, you were so miserable, in so much pain, I'm so sorry I couldn't help you when you asked me to. Now you're finally at peace and no more pain. Mom,
It's finally over, the pain, the suffering, the torture. Your life has been so hard. I pray that I made you smile, that I may have eased your pain at least a little. Throughout all of the mess of life we became best friends. I didn't realize how much I am like you until the last few years, knowing that, I'll be ok. Geannie is right when she says you have left behind a legacy. The sheer strength you instilled in most of your children is amazing. The goal you and I set to achieve was accomplished. Glenda, you were like a second mom to me, sometimes telling me things I didn't want to hear but I always knew in my heart that they were things I needed to hear. Bernie, you've been a close friend for so long. I am so sorry for your sadness. We love you much.
Gena, So sorry for your loss, we share so many memories, especially the ones on your first marriage.
Linda, Sorry for your loss. I am glad to have been a part of your life, especially little Jimmy being born while you lived with me.
