Glenn Arthur Collison's Obituary
Glenn Arthur Collison, age 85, of Muskegon, formerly of Fruitport, passed away Saturday, March 2, 2019, at Sanctuary at the Oaks. He was born February 6, 1934, in Grand Haven to Alex and Mary (Fuller) Collison, and married Delores “Dodie” Keener on September 25, 1964, in Grand Haven. She preceded him in death on May 21, 2006.
Glenn retired from Master Pattern in 1996 as a pattern maker. He was a charter member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church in Spring Lake, served as President of the pattern makers, and served on the board of the credit union for many years. His other interests were golfing, camping, dancing, traveling, fishing, enjoying a bowl of ice cream, and most of all he enjoyed family gatherings.
He is lovingly remembered by his special beloved partner, Wilma Seidl of Muskegon; five daughters: Carolyn (Don) Warren of Muskegon, Donna Willard of Spring Lake, Norma (Jeff) Pearo of North Muskegon, Jerri (Tim) Homoly of Fruitport, and Glenna Collison of Muskegon; his son, Steve (Marilyn) Morrisey of Davie, FL; sister-in-law, Barb Wessels; twenty grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; seventeen great-great-grandchildren; brother, William Collison of Spring Lake; and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his sister, Lorraine Dalman, brother, Robert Collison, his son, Gene Wessels, and son-in-law, Chuck Willard.
A memorial service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 7, 2019, at St. Matthew Lutheran with Rev. Michael Goers officiating. Friends may meet the family after the service at church.
