Glenn Scharphorn's Obituary
Glenn Scharphorn went to be with Jesus on March 7, 2024. Glenn was born in Burt, Michigan on August 18, 1940, to Anna (Kooiman) and Gerrit Scharphorn. He was raised in Robinson Township and graduated from Coopersville High School. He married his high school sweetheart, his wife Gloria, on June 1, 1962. Together they raised three children, David, Paul, and Kimberly in the Grand Haven area.

All this he did on the side while doing his regular job as a Tool and Die Maker. He could fix anything mechanical, including cars and do their body work. He loved the Lord and served as Elder, Deacon, Sunday School Teacher, Cadet Counselor, and on several committees while attending 1st CRC, Grand Haven. For the last several years, they enjoyed attending Covenant Life Church with their daughter and family.
He will be lovingly missed by his wife, Gloria; son, Paul (Bobbi); daughter, Kim (Eric Poll); grandchildren, Eric (Samantha) Scharphorn, Jessica (Casey) Glomb, Taylor (Michael) Westrate, Katie, Ethan, and Brayden Poll. He is also survived by his brother, Bob (Shirley) Scharphorn; brother-in-law, Harold Lutz, sister-in-law, Lois Price and many nieces and nephews.
