Glenna Rae "Glenalyn" Carr's Obituary
Glenna Rae “Glenalyn” Carr, age 84, passed from death unto life, arriving in Heaven on Saturday, August 1, 2020.
Glenna was born October 4, 1935, in Muskegon, to Glenn and Evelyn (Swarvar) Tindall. She graduated from Muskegon High School. Glenna trusted Christ as her savior and as a young teenager, attended Calvary Baptist church. Her family moved from Muskegon to Warren, MI where her husband worked for the government as a computer programmer until he retired. The family moved to Grand Haven in 2002. She will be remembered as a loving mother and wife.
Glenna is survived by her two children, Janet Carr and Daniel Carr; her sister, Darleen (Dennis) Burns; her uncle, Gene Swarvar; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond J. Carr, and her brother, Don Tindall and sister-in-law, Pat Tindall.
A private family graveside service has already taken place at Nunica Cemetery. Her loved ones want to thank everyone for the love and prayers at this time. Glenna spent the last three years of her life at Lakeshore Assisted Living – Sorrell Home, where the staff took wonderful care of her. The family would also like to thank Hospice of North Ottawa Community for their care of Glenna.
