Mrs. Glenna B. McMillen's Obituary
Mrs. Glenna B. McMillen, age 93, passed away Thursday afternoon, March 8, 2012 in Grand Haven. She was born November 2, 1918 to Paul and Myrtle (Wellman) Woirol in Muskegon, and lived all of her life in the W. Michigan area. She was an avid golfer, belonging to the Lincoln Golf Club, and also the Muskegon Eagles. She was a former member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church and First Lutheran Church. On October 29, 1949 Glenna married Donald E. McMillen, Jr., and he preceded her in death on October 25, 2005. SURVIVORS include 1 son, Robert (Patricia) Baker of Spring Lake; 2 grandchildren, Todd (Jill) Baker of Norton Shores, Nichole Baker of Spring Lake; 2 great-grandchildren, Chase and Alex Baker; 2 sisters, Rachael (Edward ) Hansen, and Peggy Kroone. She was also preceded in death by 1 brother, Cecil Woirol; 3 sisters, Leah Workman, Pauline Davis , and Mildred Swanson. A MEMORIAL SERVICE will be held at 11:00 AM Monday at Sytsema Funeral Homes, Inc.,The Lee Chapel, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, MI (231) 798-1100, with Pastor John H. Brown officiating.
