Glenna A. Roe's Obituary
Mrs. Glenna A. Roe, age 92, died Sunday, June 6, 2004 in N. Muskegon. She was born on October 22, 1911 to Matthew & Delia (Valley) Charron, and had resided in Muskegon her entire life. Mrs. Roe was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church, and loved traveling the hallways of Hillcrest Nursing Home with her sunglasses on, where she was known as “Hot Rod Glenna.” She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold J. Roe on May 30, 1986. SURVIVORS include 3 children, Jackie (Dick) Jarvis of Sterling Heights, Robert (Marlene) Roe of Holland, Thomas Roe of Muskegon; 7 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 2 sisters, Geraldine Fowler and Betty (William) Hlodan both of Muskegon. She was also preceded in death by 2 brothers, and 2 sisters. There will be no services. A special “Thank You” to all the nurses and staff at Hillcrest, who went above and beyond their duties.
