Gloria Jean Bischoff's Obituary
Gloria Jean Bischoff, age 85, of Spring Lake passed away Friday, June 28, 2019, at Allendale Nursing and Rehabilitation Community. She was born November 18, 1933, in Flint, Mi to Alfred and Helma (Johnson) Renke, and married Roger S. Bischoff on August 6, 1955, in Grand Rapids. He preceded her in death on December 27, 1999.
Gloria had worked at Bell Telephone in Grand Rapids then at Steketee’s as a sales clerk. She was a former member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in Grand Rapids. Her other interests were gardening, baking, reading, and most of all she was a very good, and devoted, wife and mother.
She is lovingly remembered by her two daughters, Linda (Wayne) Ortquist and Jeanine (Will) Love; five grandchildren: Allison Ortquist, Lauryn Ortquist, Chris Love, Jill Love, and Nick Love. She was preceded in death by three sisters, and two brothers.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 Noon Tuesday, July 2, 2019, at Pine Plains Cemetery with William Love officiating. Friends may meet the family at the cemetery before the service.
