Gloria Burbridge's Obituary
Ms. Gloria Jean Burbridge, age 53, went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, December 15, 2020. She was born in Muskegon, MI on September 16, 1967 to Ben Roberts Jr and Minnie Rogers, and was a life-long resident of the area. She attended Muskegon Public Schools and graduated from Baker College with her Bachelor’s Degree. She enjoyed playing bingo, spending time with her family, friends and church members. She accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Corinthians Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Khi L. Guy. Gloria was also a faithful member of church the usher’s board. She is survived by her children James (Kayla) Coleman, Cornelius (Dana) Coleman, Amber Burbridge, Imari Burbridge; her father: Ben Roberts Jr.; six grandchildren, brothers: Kinnis Rogers, Kendall Rogers, Calvin (Linda) Walker; sisters: Maria Roberts, Sherita Joshuaway, Latosha Aubrey, Carla Roberts, Deadre Collins, Pamela Jackson, Patricia Grace and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, friends and church family. She was preceded in death by her mother: Minnie Rogers. A LIMITED PUBLIC VISITATION for Gloria will be held from 4PM-8PM Tuesday, December 22, 2020 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 737 E. Apple Ave, Muskegon, MI 49442. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the funeral home is allowed 25 guests in the building at a time. As people pay their respects to the family and exit the building, more guests will be allowed in. Masks will be required. FUNERAL SERVICES will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at Fresh Anointing COGIC,1121 Jefferson St, Muskegon, MI 49440 with Pastor Khi L.
