Gloria K. Lindale's Obituary
Gloria K. Lindale, age 77, was called home by our Heavenly Father on Friday, October 8, 2021 at the Harbor Hospice Poppen Residence in Muskegon. Gloria had faced many health challenges over the years with amazing humor and fortitude; but this last challenge was insurmountable. So, it’s with great sadness that we say a peaceful goodbye to her. She was born June 3, 1944, to Neal and Grace (Burdick) Lindale of Muskegon Heights, MI. Gloria graduated from Muskegon Catholic Central in 1962. She worked for the State of Michigan for 34 years and after retiring in 2007, she returned to the Muskegon area to live. She loved her family deeply and everyone knew her as a kind and generous person. She was also a devout member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and making new ones, which came easy to her. She always looked forward to their lunches and movie nights. Gloria would often visit with residents at McAuley Place, just to brighten someone’s day. Throughout her life, she loved taking photos and shared them with family and friends, which brought her such joy. Gloria is survived by her brother, John (Jacquelyn) Lindale, many very special nieces and nephews and a very large group of wonderful friends. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents; one brother, Neal, Jr. “Sandy” (Charlene) Lindale and her sister, Diane Fichtel. Cremation has already taken place. Per her family’s wishes, there will be no funeral or memorial service. In her memory, you may consider a donation to Sacred Heart Catholic Church or the American Heart Association. Arrangements entrusted to The Lee Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 6291 S Harvey St, Norton Shores, MI 49444, (231) 798-1100. Please share memories with the family at their online guestbook at www.sytsemafh.com
