Gloria Jean Mulder's Obituary
Mrs. Gloria J. Mulder, age 84, passed away Thursday, August 29, 2019. She was born on March 8, 1935 in Muskegon to William and Evelyn (Lewis) Betts, and resided her entire life in the area. Gloria worked for the Twin Lake School for over 20 years in many different capacities. She enjoyed canning in her spare time, but first and foremost was her love for her family and her giving heart. On May 2, 1953, she married Donald Mulder and together celebrated 65 years together, prior to Donald preceding her in death on December 3, 2018. SURVIVORS include two sons, Donald and his children, Jacob and Amanda Mulder; and Michael and his children, Nick and Neil Mulder; and sister, Joyce Stanyard. Gloria was also preceded in death by two brothers, Jack and Bill Betts; and sister, Barbara Nieboer. FUNERAL SERVICES will be 11AM Wednesday, September 4, 2019 at The Sytsema Chapel of Sytsema Funeral & Cremation Services, 737 Apple Ave, Muskegon, MI 49442 (231) 726-5210 with Pastor John H. Brown officiating. VISITATION with the family will be 1 hour prior to the service, from 10-11AM Wednesday. Burial will take place in Twin Lake Cemetery.
