Gloria L. Suchecki's Obituary
Gloria Lee (Cedron) Suchecki, age 81, passed away peacefully at home from Pancreatic cancer on Friday, September 10, 2021. She was born on January 6, 1940, to Nick and Tillie Cedron in Muskegon, MI. After graduating Salutatorian from Ravenna High School, she was employed at Misco in Muskegon. She continued her work for the aerospace industry at Howmet, in Whitehall, until she retired after 34 years. On May 2, 1998, Gloria married the love of her life, David J. Suchecki, and together they shared 23 wonderful years. Dave and Gloria spent winters between Honolulu, Hawaii and Siesta Key, Florida, where she loved to dress in traditional Hawaiian clothing. She will be greatly missed, poolside, by her many treasured friends from around the world there. She loved golf, Notre Dame football, and picking blueberries. But by far, her favorite pastime was shopping, and was known to always use a coupon. She is survived by her loving husband, Dave Suchecki; daughters, Carrie (Tony) Wozny, Jeannine Tiles; stepchildren, Gayle (Mark) Austin, Guy (Christine) Suchecki, Brett (Tricia) Suchecki; grandchildren, Drew (Alli), Lea, Trevor (Tori), Bryce, Hannah, Addie (Nate) Graveling; great granddaughters Bella and Emma; and sister, Linda (Bob) Pennell. She was preceded in death by her parents; former spouse, Ken Bentley; and brother Gene Cedron. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at 11 a.m. at The Lee Chapel of the Sytsema Funeral and Cremation Services, 6291 S. Harvey St., Norton Shores, with visitation beginning at 10 a.m. Memorial contributions may be directed to Make-A-Wish Foundation or the Harbor Hospice Foundation.
