Gloria E. TenBrink's Obituary
Mrs. Gloria E. TenBrink, age 86, passed away Thursday evening June 18, 2009. She was born September 29, 1922 in Ottawa County to Mony and Pauline (Anderson) Johnson and had resided in Fruitport most of her years. Mrs. TenBrink had worked as a secretary for Enterprise Brass Works for 6 years. She then became the area Manager for World Book Encyclopedia for 26 years before retiring in 1985. Mrs. TenBrink was an active member of Unity Reformed Church, sang in the choir, and belonged to the Ladies Guild. She had been a member of the YMCA, loved to travel, and enjoyed being active. Mrs. TenBrink loved her grandchildren and devoted herself to her family, friends, and those in need. On September 19, 1946 she married Ernest W. TenBrink in Fruitport and he survives her along with 2 children, Roger J. (Carol) TenBrink, Debra L. (Don) Gale both of Muskegon; 2 grandchildren, Kristopher and Travis Gale; and a niece, Pat (Gary) Adams of Lansing. She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Elna Mroczka. SERVICES will be 1:00 PM Monday at Unity Reformed Church (1521 Porter Rd.) with Rev. James Bos officiating. Burial will be in Spring Lake Cemetery. VISITATION with the family will be from 2-5 PM Sunday at
