Nice man....nice teacher....really cared about students. He will be missed.
So sorry I can’t make it to the service. Your dad was such a lovely man, Joe.
Gordie, I miss the talks we had periodically while you were still with us. I think we solved a lot of the world's problems, or at least we tried. I have had the date of your service on my calendar since you went to be with Jesus and Maurine and I planned to be there to say goodbye but as it turns out I am having eye surgery tomorrow at 9:15 am. Please know that I will always treasure our years of cooking meals together for Hackley Community Center. Thank Maurine for me as it was her idea for you to help me out. Goodbye Old Friend. Mary Jane.
I am very sorry to hear f Mr Gutowski passing, truly one of Mona Shores best and kindest teachers.
I had the pleasure of being in his classroom for two semesters..and enjoyed every minuet of them..

Steve and family, I am so sorry about the loss of your father. He was such a good man and a great teacher. Praying for family. GOD BLESS.
Gordon was my history teacher. I was Gordon’s Student assistant for two years. He was also my friend who will be dearly missed. He is one of the reasons I went into teaching and became a history teacher at Mona Shores. Gordon went out of his way to make you feel important and respected. Gordon had a great smile and personality that was infectious. Throughout the years after graduating he always kept in touch just to see how things were going. When I opened up my driving school he sent me a very kind and personal letter wishing me success and happiness. When I was first elected to Mona Shores school board Gordon called to congratulate me and sent me a very kind note in the mail. I shall miss his wisdom, kindness and great big smile most of all.
So sorry for your loss my cousins. He always was a kind uncle who my mother loved dearly. Hugs to you. Karen Williams Laney
With deepest sympathy to Gordon's family. I had the pleasure and honor of teaching with Gordon for a number of years at Mona Shores High. I can say that he had the great respect of the staff and students. His gentle manner and intellect made him an outstanding educator. May God grant the family his healing power and eternal rest to him.

Mr. Gutowski was also my favorite teacher. He was also my friend, my mentor and a wonderful person and when I was young he was like an angel to me. My teen years were bad at home. He listened, he let me spend time with him and his family. He gave me perspective. And when my mom wouldn't pick me after a Choir Christmas Concert and if he was there, he would take me home in the middle of winter. Not many people have such a wonderful friend in their life. Thank you so much for being my friend.
