Mr. Gordon L. Wolffis' Obituary
Mr. Gordon L. Wolffis, 84, passed away April 2, 2020, in Muskegon. He was born March 18, 1936 to Louis and Margaret (Brown) Wolffis in Muskegon and was a lifelong resident. Gord worked as a truck driver for many years prior to retirement. Gordon was a member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church. On September 14, 1957 he married Marlene Ulmer and they spent 62 happy years together. She survives him along with 2 children: Randy (Kris) Wolffis, Laurie (David) Danklefsen; 9 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; 1 sister-in-law: Lynde Wolffis; 2 brother-in-laws: Paul Schultz; and Glen Howard. He was preceded in death by a son Michael, and a daughter-in-law Debbie Wolffis, his parents, a sister Shirley Schultz, a sister-in-law Gloria Howard and his brother Dale Wolffis who died the same day as Gord. Due do the Covid-19 outbreak and social distancing a service to remember and honor Gordon’s life will be held at a later date.
