Mr. Gordon W. Wolffis' Obituary
Gordon W. Wolffis, 74, passed away early Sunday, July 20, 2014 in Grand Haven. Born November 25, 1939 to Raymond and Grace (Yonkman) Wolffis, he was a life resident of the Muskegon area. Gordon had been employed as a Purchasing Manager at Textron and Kaydon-Dura, and had had a contractor’s license and also painted for many years. He was a member of Forest Park Covenant Church where he sang in the choir and had made mission trips. He was a US Navy veteran. Gordon married the former Sandra L. “Sandy” DeLong October 11, 1963 in Muskegon, and she survives him along with their children: Kim (Norm) Lippiatt of Chicago, Amy (Mark) Vriesman of Grand Haven, Brent (Tracie) Wolffis of N. Muskegon, and Blake (Karen) Wolffis of Carmel, IN; six grandchildren; and two brothers: Bill (Mary Ann) Wolffis of Muskegon and Chuck Wolffis of NC. Gordon loved his family, loved to sing, and was the first person in line to help anyone he could. VISITATION ffrom 10-11 A.M.
